The flowers are relatively large, typically spanning 16 cm (about 6 inches) in diameter, and bloom on tall scapes reaching about 90 cm in height.
Key Growing Characteristics
- Bloom Time: Early to midseason. Like most daylilies, each individual flower lasts only a single day, but the plant produces a continuous succession of blooms.
- Foliage: Evergreen, making it suitable for year-round garden presence in milder climates.
- Sun & Soil: Thrives in full sun to semi-shade. It adapts to a variety of soils but performs best when enriched with compost and kept well-watered.
- Hardiness: Highly resilient, heat-tolerant, and easy to maintain once established.
